Johnny comes from a background in film production. He is one of our junior Smoke operators and Giant edit assistants, working on promos for E4 and Nickelodeon as well as grading short films.

Production Manager and Directors Representative for a film production company
What drew you into sound?
My love of film and music.
Do you work with sound outside The Jungle Group?
I play drums, tweak synths, compose music. And I love working on short films - editing, mixing, grading - the lot!
What’s the most challenging part of the job?
Keeping up with forever changing formats and technologies.
What’s the best thing about the company?
The people. It’s such a sociable and friendly place to work.
What’s the strangest brief you’ve had for a sound track?
That’s a toss-up between “the sound of a chicken being interviewed” and a “romantic puddle splash”.
